2026 CALL FOR ARTISTS
Art in the Open is inviting local, regional, and national artists to submit their artistic proposals for the annual summer festival. The festival will take place over multiple days in August 2026. We are looking for unique submissions that will transform Victoria Park in downtown Charlottetown.
This year’s Art in the Open festival will take place over multiple days, and the primary festival location will be Victoria Park, downtown Charlottetown’s largest public green space.
We are seeking creative proposals for:
Installations, workshops, presentations, performances, or public encounters
Interactive art projects in any size or medium
Works that engage the public and respond to the festival’s public, outdoor location
Deadline for submission is May 29th, 2026, by 11:59 PM Atlantic time.
