For 2024, Art in the Open will take place on

Thursday, August 22 to Sunday, August 25

in downtown Charlottetown, PEI.

Art In The Open

Art in the Open takes place on Epekwitk, one of the seven districts of Mi'kma'ki, the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Mi’kmaq. We acknowledge the territorial and cultural sovereignty of the Epekwitnewaq Mi’kmaq: past, present and future.

Art à ciel ouvert

Art à ciel ouvert se déroule sur Epekwitk, un des sept districts de Mi’kma’ki, le territoire non cédé et non abandonné de la nation mi'kmaq. Nous reconnaissons la souveraineté territoriale et culturelle passée, présente et future du peuple mi'kmaq sur ce territoire.
